Hi Readers (if i got any..hehe)!

It's been a while since I last posted here. I have been busy with my job and other websites these past few months although I was able maintain my other hobbies like reading novels, watching movies and writing stories.

The good news is that when I'm not busy at work, I still write stories (in the office). Currently, I'm finishing two corny romantic love stories and let me give you a brief description of it.


My 10 YEARS OLD-ER BOYFRIEND

It's basically a story of my life as a call center agent. It's a mixture of real and unreal stuff about me and my work mates. In this story, Jinnie is a not so good looking girl with a not so exciting life. One night, she met this stunning prince who turned out to be her trainer. For the first time in forever, she let her guard down and fall in love with this man but then she's not sure if he feels the same way for her. She doesn't even want to confess as she is afraid of being dumped. As to what follows, I'm not sure. I haven't finish it yet. :)


UNTITLED
It's title is not really "untitled". It's just that I can't think of any title yet. Anyway, Kiyisha is a bad girl gone good after being hired as the tutor of a wealthy man. It was not really easy specially when she needed to attend to her previous school of arrogant and ill mannered beings who used to see her as a genius and a campus idol. After a series of crazy events, two men would rescue her from darkness and guide her to the life she forgot she could have and make her realize that she could love again. The problem now is, who's her kinght?


Hopefully I could share a copy of it here. I know I'm not good writer. I was never good in anything. I always say I give up on all my failures only to realize I still want to move forward.

Inheritance Cycle

Truly, a must read for everyone but i doubt if this is for children. If I labeled Hunger Games as political book, well then, this book is a religious book in a way that I found situations in which the characters are arguing about the existence of God. The elves do not believe in one supreme being who created the world but dwarves and human beings like Eragon believe in God. Below is a part of the book in which Eragon asked his mentor if they believe in God:

“A god wouldn’t have to alter nature to accomplish his will,” asserted Eragon. “He could do it within the system that already exists… He could use magic to affect events.”

Oromis smiled. “Very true. But ask yourself this, Eragon: If gods exist, have they been good custodians of Alagaësia? Death, sickness, poverty, tyranny, and countless other miseries stalk the land. If this is the handiwork of divine beings, then they are to be rebelled against and overthrown, not given obeisance, obedience, and reverence.”

“The dwarves believe—”

“Exactly! The dwarves believe. When it comes to certain matters, they rely upon faith rather than reason. They have even been known to ignore proven facts that contradict their dogma.”

“Like what?” demanded Eragon.

“Dwarf priests use coral as proof that stone is alive and can grow, which also corroborates their story that Helzvog formed the race of dwarves out of granite. But we elves discovered that coral is actually an exoskeleton secreted by minuscule animals that live inside the coral. Any magician can sense the animals if he opens his mind. We explained this to the dwarves, but they refused to listen, saying that the life we felt resides in every kind of stone, although their priests are the only ones who are supposed to be able to detect the life in landlocked stones.”

For a long time, Eragon stared out the window, turning Oromis’s words over in his mind. “You don’t believe in an afterlife, then.”

“From what Glaedr said, you already knew that.”

“And you don’t put stock in gods.”

“We give credence only to that which we can prove exists. Since we cannot find evidence that gods, miracles, and other supernatural things are real, we do not trouble ourselves about them. If that were to change, if Helzvogwere to reveal himself to us, then we would accept the new information and revise our position.”

“It seems a cold world without something… more.”

“On the contrary,” said Oromis, “it is a better world. A place where we are responsible for our own actions, where we can be kind to one another because we want to and because it is the right thing to do instead of being frightened into behaving by the threat of divine punishment. I won’t tell you what to believe, Eragon. It is far better to be taught to think critically and then be allowed to make your own decisions than to have someone else’s notions thrust upon you. You asked after our religion, and I have answered you true. Make of it what you will.”


We could tell that both party are stating their unshaken faith--Faith to One supreme being for Eragon and faith to Ourselves. If the author is an atheist, surely we couldn't tell. After all, faith is within us...You may share your view but you cannot impose your view to others. What's the best thing about this argument is that they both respect the beliefs of the entities around them---something that we should also do on this race to avoid bloodbath.


On some parts of the book, author also discussed the love affair of Arya and Eragon but do they really have a romantic  affair? In the end of the story, Arya ALMOST admitted the love of Eragon but then they were hindered by age..not just age..a generation..a century. Eragon compared to Arya, is just a kid who is as fickle minded as any human. However, with the fairth Eragon did for Arya when he was saying his intentions, he expressed how much he adored her. Sadly, it wouldn't work for them. Eragon left Alaegasia and he was destined not to come back ever again.


I felt the extreme pain of Eragon but as always, "the heart, as you observed, is a notoriously fickle beast---(Eragon)". Who knows, well only ChristopherPaolini, they might reunite again.


All in all, This book would surely bring you into a new realm so read it and feel it.

Collectively known as Hunger Games series. A series of books of complete description of life and death circumstances.

Hunger Games is a game created by the Capitol, the capital of the country of Panem, to remind the rebels the consequences of rising against the city. Each year, all children ages 12 to 18 from the twelve districts of Panem shall join the reaping. In this reaping, one boy and one girl will be chosen to join the battle of life..the Hunger Games.  The boy and the girl whom would be chosen are called Tributes. Only one shall lived and considered victor who will receive special rewards.

Katniss volunteered to be the Tribute for district twelve as originally her younger sister was chosen. Peeta joined him as he was called next. Haymitch became their mentor and together as a team, they impressed the audience from  the fiery costumes they wore during their grand parade up until Peeta claimed that he had a crush on Katniss "forever."

On the battlefield, these two tributes encountered near death adventures which stayed on their minds even after the game. They were announced as victors for the 74th Annual Hunger Games and just when they thought this is the end of the game, it felt like it just started.


On the 75th Annual Hunger Games (Catching Fire-Book 2), they entered the arena once again and witnessed the death of the past champions. They made allies and eventually learned that they need them to rise against the Capitol. They were separated and found each other again on the 13th district but then something's wrong again. Peeta had changed. The Capitol had changed him. Because of this and along with the tremendous deaths she had witnessed, Katniss became more inspired to fight against the Capitol. She stood as the mockingjay, the girl on fire..the face of the battle.


They succeed in bringing the Capitol down but at the expense of her sister and friends who trusted and loved her. She was assigned to kill President Snow, the dictatorial leader of the whole Panem but instead of shooting the arrow to him, she aimed for someone else. She was imprisoned but viewed as psychologically incapacitated. She planned to kill herself but after few days, Haymitch visited her.


She came back to life with Peter. In the end, they all attained freedom from fear of the next reaping...


I view this series as a political novel. We all want freedom and dictatorship is something that we despise especially when it meant toying with the life of someone. Great novel but depressing. It pinched my heart and made me shed tearsss for all the moments someone dies because none of them died naturally. They were all murdered. If Im part of the game, I'm more of Peeta than Katniss. Im not strong but Im willing to give my strength if it meant saving the life of my beloved.

Hi there...I'm here to write down my idea of a movie...hmmmm..the plot's like this:


this is a story about a girl who has the power to either save the world or destroy it. Fortunately, she had already made a choice...That is..to save the world which requires her life...So she "hired" a man from her old life to kill her. The man was her high school friend who was not really lucky in life. He works as an auto mechanic and just to give you a heads up..they were not close. In fact they never talked during their high school years.


"I have a job for you."
"KILL ME"

He laughed sarcastically.

To fulfill the man's obligation, they set on a journey that would lead them to unraveling the secrets as to how to save the world but as they try to figure it out,,,they fell...deeply in love.

"You have to kill me."
"I can't.."
"You have to"
"You're my world"

As usual that's my imagination of a romance-action movie. I want to be part of a movie someday. Though its impossible or maybe difficult but not impossible, the chances of seeing me on a movie is veryyyyyy slim.

He's Gone

A few months ago, i started working in the BPO industry. What seemed to be horrible for me was made beautiful, happy and exciting by my new found friends. Two months of training and then I was sent to another account. I bid good bye to them.

...and just yesterday, one of them, my co-trainee before, died. He was drowned according to a friend of mine. We were not that close but it still feels sad. I couldn't believe it. Everything seemed like..i don't know...

I pray that may he and his friend find God's loving arms...

Rest in peace. You deserve it.

Ang Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan

Hi there…I bought a book this last Saturday (January 21) entitled Ang Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan written by one of my favourite authors, Bob Ong. I love reading tagalong books. Reading a novel is like hearing a story. Each time I read whether English or tagalong, I try to let my imagination run in my mind. In reading and writing, there should be something in it that would attack the thoughts and emotions of a person but then, the only way to impact a person’s life totally is to attack his or her emotions…para maisip nila…”Ay, ganito pala ko at dapat ng may magbago”…When you read, you rely on your imagination and consciously and unconsciously, you give your opinion while giving away your self. Sa pagbabasa, dapat di lang ang libro ang open..dapat pati isip at puso. Bibihira ang author na kayang pasukin ang sisidlan ng isipan ng tao. Pag natagpuan mo yung author na yun, let yourself be “in” the book.

Yung mga libro ni Bob Ong patuloy na pinaglalaruan ang isip ko. Pinapangaralan ako at alam ko di lang ako ang nahihiga sa mga ideyang inilalatag nya, kundi ang mga kabataang gaya ko na tumatangkilik sa akda nya.

Hindi ko alam ang tunay na dahilan sa likod ng pagsulat nya sa nobelang binaggit ko pero sigurado ko na majority sa mga nakabasa nito lalo na ang mga kabataan, nakarelate.

“Nagdarasal ka ba? Hindi ka maliligtas ng diyos mo. Sarili mo lang naman ang dino-diyos mo, hindi ba?”

We tend to be the god of our own. We only pray when we need Him but the question is, to whom do we really devote our prayers? And if we really believe that God exists, who is our God? Could it be… ourselves?

My God is the reason why I’m breathing. The reason why I learned to love and be loved. The reason why I have faith…

Sa panahon ngayon, ikinakaila ng tao ang pangangailangan sa Diyos habang patuloy silang nauulol sa pagsamba sa sarili at sa mga bagay na likha ng teknolohiya. Kung mabuti ba ang nagging dulot ng sibilisasyon, hindi na yun mahalaga sa’ken.

Ang sanggol na isinilang at lumaki sa kagubatan ay namumuhay sa kapaligiran kanyang kinalakhan. Wala syang cell phone pan text sa mga katribo nyang nais ligawan samantala ang sanggol na isinilang at lumaki sa siyudad, hindi mabitawan ang cell phone dahil baka magtext ang crush nya kung minsan pa sex na ang hobby kaya nagiinternet. Kung san ka lumaki ay siyang nagdidikta ng pangangailangan mo at nais mo. Ito ang kumokontrol sa buhay mo. Dito ka umaasa, dito ka nagpapakasasa.

Ang katotohanan ay ayaw talaga naten sa pagbabago. Bangungot ang kahapon, ang kinabukasan ay nakapangingilabot ang kasalukuyan ay kay hirap takasan. Masakit man isipin, and Diyos ay atin lamang ginagawang takbuhan ngunit hindi buhay.

Sana lahat tayo, malaman ang tunay na Diyos na all this time malaya tayong hinahayaan na diskubrehin ang buhay na gusto naten. At sana,,,sa huli, Siya pa rin ang alayan naten ng panalangin, pasasalamat at papuri at hindi ang sarili naten at ang mga kaaway at ANG MGA KAIBIGAN NI MAMA SUSAN.
